PHP Developer

We have an opening for a full time PHP developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team and take on the management of multiple new and existing client websites.

Requirements

• Expert level PHP skills including designing object oriented solutions
• Working with MVC frameworks
• Knowledge of CMS customization in applications such as Drupal and Wordpress
• Ability to slice a Fireworks file and create XHTML/CSS templates
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatability
• JavaScript/JQuery (or similar framework)
• Ability to design and maintain scalable MySQL databases
• Excellent client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• A "can do" attitude

Bonus Points

• Linux/Apache server administration
• Flash/Action Script experience
• Experience with JSP, Classic ASP or ASP.NET
• Experience with HTML5 & CSS3
• AJAX
• Drupal 6.0+
• Experience working with Git (or similar versioning tool)
• Capability to produce valid HTML emails in a variety of email clients
• Working knowledge of Dreamweaver

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with small team in the entire web development lifecycle
• Create web templates using XHTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Develop backend functionality
• Meet with clients to assess their needs
• Estimate costs
• Write requirements documents
